Our extensive deli menu for Breakfast, Brunch & Lunch includes our popular filled baguettes, rye sandwiches, an Eggs Benedict Brioche roll, and our Burnt Basque Cheesecake, complementing an extensive offer of cakes and pastries.

Founded in 1955 and established at its Meadows venue in 1968, VH Deli is regarded by many as an Edinburgh institution. While our offer has evolved over the years from a traditional delicatessen to today's sit-in and takeaway deli-based menu, our core philosophy remains the same: food that makes you smile and hungry. Our sandwiches, especially the Pastrami on Rye, set the benchmark for what a sandwich should be.

Having grown in recent years to include a City Centre and waterside venue at The Shore, and with our, at times slightly crazed, busy atmosphere, VH Deli has always been and remains a unique local Edinburgh venue to enjoy over a coffee.
