A warm welcome back!
We are excited to welcome you back to our onsite restaurant, The Potting Shed. The restaurant has been open since the 2nd of July and will be open 7 days a week, 10am to 4pm daily.
New Name & Products on offer
Not only has our restaurant seen a new name change, the interior has also been upgraded with new furniture and lighting creating the perfect environment to enjoy our new products too.
We are pleased to be able to serve you great coffee from the fantastic Three Hills Coffee company based in Selkirk providing us with the finest coffee and locally roasted too. The Potting Shed team have also completed their foundation barista training to deliver you a perfect brew with fresh beans being delivered every week. Nothing better to go with our fantastic array of cakes and treats.
Delicious milkshakes will also be on offer made with the award winning Doddington Dairy Ice Cream. We are thrilled to see this popular drink on our menu bringing a taste of the favourite stop-off point experience to the Scottish Borders just for you.
Safe Dining Experience – What do you need to know?
Table service only is now in operation to help ensure you have both a safe and enjoyable dining experience. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors where you can enjoy breakfast or lunch or just treat yourself to coffee and a cake whilst admiring the plants.
A member of our team will direct you to a table on arrival. All our tables have been spaced to allow for social distancing. We request that a face covering is worn at all times unless seated at your table (unless you are exempt).
Our restaurant has also put in place track and trace protocols as it is compulsory for all customers over the age of 16 to provide their name and contact details. This can be done via an app or in person. If using the app, simply hold your phone camera over the QR code on display at the restaurant entrance or on your table, then tap the link and follow the instructions. All details will be held securely and will not be used for any other purpose.
A one-way system is also in operation too so you will enter through the front door and exit through the side door.
Hand sanitiser will be available at the restaurant entrance.
Ordering your food
You now order from your table where one of our helpful team will serve you. It's really quick and simple. Laminated menus will be used, sanitised after every use and our team are on hand to assist if needed.
Once ready, we will bring your cutlery, food and drinks to your table, following safe social distancing measures at all times. Trays and tables are sanitised after every use.

We are currently running a limited menu as the new team get used to their brand new kitchen and coffee facilities and to ensure their continued safety whilst working in the kitchen. We look forward to bringing you new and delicious dishes in the coming weeks ahead.
Ways to Pay
Card payments are preferred and all transactions whether card of cash will be completed at your table.
