Murton Tearoom is located on the wonderful site of Murton Trust, home to Murton Farm, Tearoom and Nature Reserve. Our tearoom is open to everyone. You can enjoy our food after a visit to our nature reserve or farm or simply come along to visit the tearoom.
Our tearoom provides breakfasts, light lunches, drinks and home baking that is simply delicious. Our food is freshly prepared daily and is made to order. The cakes, traybakes and scones are all made at Murton each day, by our staff. There are always two soups of the day to choose from and we always have gluten free and dairy free options on our menu. Our small team of staff will do their best to accommodate dietary requirements you may have.
We aim to use locally sourced produce in our tearoom and sell some local, seasonal fruit and veg, eggs and honey.
When you visit Murton tearoom, our staff will be happy to help you find a seat. Table service is provided if you are sitting in or enjoying the fresh air on our decking overlooking our visitor farm. Our outside seating is complimented by a large picnic area. If you are in a rush, or you would like to make the most of the picnic area, our entire menu can also be ordered to take away. The tearoom is wheelchair accessible and we have free WiFi.
When visiting our tearoom, every penny spent contributes to the work of our charity. We support our community, providing a unique environment in which children, young people and adults can learn and develop skills for life. Murton wishes to enrich people’s lives by using our site to its full potential. We offer our farm, tearoom and nature reserve as an educational tool that has a positive impact on all ages.
