A WARM SCOTTISH WELCOME AWAITS!!! We are a family run cafe steeped in local Greenock history, situated within a lovingly restored gaelic church originally built in 1823.

Cafe mor is an independent cafe situated within a GRADE B listed church hall.
In years gone by, the former St Columbas Gaelic Church has held many a choir practise, group community meeting, wedding reception and christening tea. The derelict hall was meticulously restored over 4 years with the past very much in mind. Original features preserved and vintage decor added to create a beautiful grand venue.
Cafe Mor (grand in Gaelic) offers friendly table service, an exciting fresh food and drinks menu, gorgeous scottish home baking, fabulous icecream, stunning gift shop and loads of important local history on tap. Our feature large wood burner creates an inviting focal point for many a leisurely afternoon tea.
We look forward to welcoming all worldwide visitors to showcase what Greenock is really all about.
