Beinn an Tuirc Distillers are a sustainable craft gin distillery in Kintyre, We offer regular gin tours, gin school and have a lovely on-site cafe.
Beinn an Tuirc Distillers have been producing Kintyre Gin since 2017 on Torrisdale Castle Estate in Kintyre. Our copper pot gin still is powered by our own hydro electric scheme which uses the same spring water we use in the gin.
We have since added to our range of craft distilled products and currently have six award winning gins on our shelves.
We do everything on site - from distilling to bottling, labelling and packing and pride ourselves on the provenance of our gin. Our regular gin tours are extremely popular with visitiors to the area and they are fun and informative and include tastings of some of our gins.
We also offer a Kintyre Gin School which is a fun experience where guests blend their own bespoke gin over the course of an afternoon.
The distillery has a lovely cafe which serves light lunches, home baking, hot soup and hot drinks. It has comfortable indoor and outdoor space and is dog-friendly. Many of the ingredients are sourced from the estate walled garden and we are proud to use local suppliers where possible.
