Situated on the lower-ground floor of The Scotch Whisky Experience, Amber whisky bar continues the mission of the must-see Edinburgh attraction to inform and impassion people about Scotch Whisky.
With nearly 500 whiskies available, including single malt, blended, single grain and Whisky liqueurs, representing 96% of the brand names in the whisky industry. There is a range of whisky flights available which can be matched with tapas, cheese and chocolate. Choose from a regional flight, blends, blended malt, blended grain, rare whiskies or a luxury flight. Each month a special selection of Scotch whiskies is curated and includes single malts from the five key regions, whisky liqueur, a blended Scotch and luxury whisky. There are often rare or limited bottlings on this list, and new releases on occasion.
The illuminated bar allows for superior visual assessment of the nearly 500 whiskies on offer and a wealth of information is offered both by the interactive touch screen distillery guide, translated into 20 different languages, and via the more traditional method of chatting with the knowledgeable and friendly bar team.
The food offering in this ‘Taste our Best’ accredited Restaurant & whisky bar is a highlight, from delicious Scottish tapas, to a full three course meal. Food can be expertly matched with whisky, and staff are on hand to recommend the perfect dram to accompany your meal.
