Wood Turner's Cottage is a beautifully renovated former joiner's workshop forming part of the old stone-built steading of Yestermains, the owners' working dairy and arable farm, located about half a mile from the picturesque East Lothian conservation village of Gifford.
Yestermains is adjacent to an 18 hole golf course and within a half hour's drive towards the east coast from some of the best golf courses in the country. Edinburgh is 25 miles away and easily reached by road or train.
The pretty village of Gifford hosts all usual amenities including two country hotels/pub/restaurants, newsagent and food store. The market town of Haddington is only 6 miles away with more shopping, pubs, supermarket and restaurants.
The property comprises three bedrooms: 1 double en suite, 1 twin on the first floor and 1 twin with adjoining shower room on the ground floor. Both shower rooms have heated towel rails. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor.
The large well equipped country kitchen/dining room leads through French doors into the living room, with log burning stove. There are sanded wood floors throughout the ground floor, with tasteful decor and central heating making this a superbly cosy yet spacious property.
Outside there is ample parking for two/three cars with a lawn and a patio for those summer BBQs.
