Enjoying fantastic views of the Five Sisters of Kintail and the Saddle, Woodlands easily accommodates 12 people. The four bath/shower rooms make long queues a thing of the past. The exceptionally comfortable seating in the lounge is wonderful to sink into after a long day's walking/climbing/fishing/sailing/touring/exploring/pony trekking or even relaxing; enjoying yourself can be hard work! The 12 seater table in the kitchen is fantastic for communal meals and the rustic, half-acre garden is a bit hit with the children although little ones will need supervising as it is rocky and steep in places. There is also a very basic games rooms which houses a pool table and dart board.
Pony trekking is less than a 5 minute walk away, so is Loch Duich. The Five Sisters of Kintail are on your doorstep and the lochside Kintail Lodge Hotel with its welcoming, friendly bar and fabulous food is, at half a mile away, only a 10 minute walk from Woodlands. Another 5 minutes further on is the Jac'o'bite restaurant and Kintail Crafts, an Aladdin's Cave of a shop selling crafts and antiques and a few staple groceries.
