Tigh Sgoile Loft is a one bedroom first-floor apartment, south facing, with a king-size bed, an en-suite shower room and a separate kitchen/dining and lounge room, also south facing.
Wake up and look out onto the stunning views of Loch Linnhe and the mountains of Glencoe and Ballachulish beyond. These beautiful rooms are secluded and private, refurbished to a luxury standard.
Outside, there are beautiful gardens and a table and chairs for your exclusive use, where you can enjoy the garden and the views over the loch.
Across the road, a path leads on to a secluded, shingle beach with views eastwards towards Glencoe and westwards towards the Isle of Mull.
The atmosphere is relaxed, informal and, at the same time, private and independent.
Hi speed internet is available free of charge.
Guest access
The Loft has private access and is secluded from the main part of the house where we live. There is a private seating area in the garden for the exclusive use of our guests, and you are most welcome to stroll in the gardens or cross the road to the secluded beach. Cars can be left in our spacious parking area, which is private and secure.
Interaction with guests
We live in the main part of the house and are around most of the time. If you need any tips on places to visit, local pubs, restaurants and walks, we would be delighted to help you.
Other things to note
On the other side of the main house is Schoolhouse Cottage, which can be rented out for 2 people. See our other listings for more information about it.
Please note that we have a dog. He is a small, white fluffy Maltese/Shitzu cross and very friendly with people, but we will keep him away from any guests who may not like dogs.
A little piece of history... Tigh Sgoile means the "Schoolhouse" in Gaelic and the building served as Onich's village school from about 1840 until 1980.
