Welcome to Horselea Holiday Cottages, two luxury self catering cottages on a working farm, 7 miles south of Perth.
Our self-catering cottages at Horselea have been recently converted from our steading buildings and are an idealic country retreat where guests can enjoy the delights of the beautiful surrounding farmland, stunning views of the Ochil and Sidlaw hills, and the Strathearn Valley.
The Fair City of Perth offers a range of experiences for all the family from shopping to exploring the ancient history of our Town. Visit Scone Place, (10 miles) where the Kings of Scotland were crowned, an enjoyable day out for the family allowing you to explore the grounds, visit the Palace, or enjoy a meal in the tea room. Golfers can enjoy a round at the award winning courses at Gleneagles (10miles) or St. Andrews, the home of golf, (40miles).
Edinburgh and Stirling with their Castles, Glasgow with its shopping and historic building, Aberdeen, Inverness, Dundee are all places of special interest and accessible from Horselea. WHAT WE OFFER
Horselea self-catering holiday cottages are located 7 miles south of Perth in the heart of Scotland. The Fair city of Perth is only a ten minute drive away, allowing guests to explore our historic city, enjoy an evening at the Theatre or our award winning Concert Hall. Perth Museum offers an enjoyable experience for both young and old with many interactive exhibits or special events taking place. Scone place (10 miles) where the Kings of Scotland were crowned, provides an enjoyable day out for the family to explore the grounds, visit the Palace, or enjoy a meal in the tea room. Golfers can enjoy a round at the famous award winning courses at Gleneagles (10 miles) or St. Andrews, the home of gold (40 miles) or any of the 29 courses in Perthshire.
For the more active, the Core Path Network in our area provides many enjoyable walks suitable for all ages and abilities, Visit Edinburgh and Stirling with their Castles, Glasgow with its shopping and historic buildings. Aberdeen, Inverness, or Dundee are also places of special interest, and easily accessible from Horselea.
Horselea is also horse friendly and offers a great opportunity to bring your horse with you on holiday and explore the surrounding area. Grazing is available at Horselea or the neighbouring livery yard.
Return to Horselea and relax in comfort, enjoy the warmth provided by our sustainable ground source heating system and be revived to enjoy your holiday experience.
Enjoy watching and listening to the birds, watch the cows, horses and sheep, and enjoy the peace and quiet only available in the countryside. Our farm is a short walk from the local village with its historic Church and village Post Office and store. The larger village of Bridge of Earn is a five minute drive and has pubs, restaurants, farm shop and a park for the children. The City of Perth is a ten minute drive and offers a range of activities from swimming to walking to shopping or relax and enjoy a meal in some of our award winning restaurants.
