The Sail Loft in Portsoy offers self-catering accommodation with 25 luxurious beds and bunks as well as laundrette and drying room facilities and secure cycle storage and washdown area.
We’ve put a lot of thought into ensuring that you get a good night’s sleep at The Sail Loft. Our mattresses are the same quality that you’ll find at Scotland’s fine Gleneagles Hotel, supplied by Glencraft in Aberdeen. All the walls are very well insulated, so you really will not be disturbed – unless you crack open the window to enjoy the gentle sound of the sea just a few metres away.
Bed linen is provided, with towels also available at very reasonable cost. All bunks and beds have their own reading light, socket and individual secure locker large enough to store mobile devices, tablets, camera and more. The beds are designed to be both singles or doubles, so we can easily accommodate your parties’ needs for your stay. We also have cots and baby alarms available for visiting families.
Separate, modern male and female toilets and showers with lots of hot water are close to the bedrooms.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area is fully equipped with hobs, microwaves, fridges and lots of work surfaces, plus pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.
Wi-fi is available throughout and you will find power sockets everywhere!
We’ve got great facilities outside too: lots of seating areas including a decked area adjacent to the kitchen, and the walled garden with a BBQ to enjoy on sunny days. Soothe away those stresses in our glorious the hot tub, available all year round, to be enjoyed in the sun, in the snow or in the night under starry skies - or even possibly the Northern Lights if you’re lucky!
