The Moorings is in a lovely situation on the edge of the sea loch., it is ideal for walking, birdwatching, fishing or just for a relaxing holiday. You can see an abundance of wild life from the cottage, deer, otters, sea eagles to name just a few.
A comfortable modern cottage comprising of 3 bedrooms, one double and two twin rooms. A cosy lounge with fantastic view, equiped with television,dvd player and cd player, there is a seperate dining room, with high chair available. There is a fully equipped kitchen with integral appliances, where you can cook some of the wonderful local produce that is available on the Island, if you are not sampling some of the restaurants, cafes and bars.
The Moorings is heated with oil central heating, which makes it a cosy retreat when the weather is cooler., It is ideal for couples or families and a well behaved dog.
It is within easy access to Lochmaddy , for the ferry terminal and the outdoor centre, and the hotel, there are also various walking trails nearby, and a car trip away from fantastic beaches.

Getting there by ferry:- From Lochmaddy ferry terminal, travel on road sign posted Lochboisdale until road sign posted Locheport.
