The historic Galley of Lorne Inn rests by Loch Craignish in the picturesque village of Ardfern, just 30 minutes drive from Oban and Lochgilphead.

Overnight guests can choose from 6 tastefully decorated en-suite bedrooms, each named after a west coast Island and superbly appointed to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay.
Dining at The Galley is a real treat - we serve be finest local produce carefully prepared; menus regularly feature locally landed seafood and estate game. All this set against our magnificent glass wall overlooking Loch Craignish where you can dine by candlelight as the sun slips slowly over the horizon...
From the doorstep of the Inn you can spend time island hopping, rambling on the miles of forest & beach trails, fishing, golfing, horse riding, sailing (Ardfern Yacht Centre is just yards away) or perhaps discovering a castle or two! There is plenty to see and do all year around and Ardfern offers a great alternative to Oban or Lochgilphead which are both just a short drive away. Families are very welcome at The Galley of Lorne Inn and we offer high chairs and travel cots for those travelling with young children. We also offer camp beds which can be provided in your bedrooms (maximum of 1 extra bed per room). Children can also dine from our fun Kids menu offering favourites at excellent value for money.
The Galley of Lorne Inn which is the 'local' for our friendly villagers also has a public bar and lounge bar. With real ales, 50 malt whiskies to savour and a wine list to cater for all tastes, we promise you a holiday to remember.
