Stay for bed and breakfast in our comfortable, traditional Victorian house in a peaceful residential area of Edinburgh in a lovely leafy street leading to sandy Portobello beach and promenade. So peaceful it is difficult to believe you are only a twenty minute bus ride from the centre. Enjoy the rich heritage of Edinburgh by day and rest peacefully at night in our lounge, or enjoy a beach stroll or local restaurant. Start it all again after a hearty breakfast.

We are currently increasing cleaning in our public areas, using anti bacterial spray on all surfaces, removed our buffet seection for ordered foods and providing hand santiser for breakfast and managing a self check in system to reduce congrergations of people.

We are situated in the City of Edinburgh where you can explore all the architecture, history and culture of Scotland's capital. We are beside the beautiful sandy beach on the Firth of Forth and there are dining options locally overlooking the sea. With a range of gift shops, bars, restaurants, swimming pool and turkish baths in walking distance you can enjoy a truly relaxing holiday in our neighbourhood. We are an easy bus ride or short drive to the East Lothian coast line where you can explore Dirleton Castle or Tantallon Castle, perhaps enjoy a walk in Aberlady Bay. The top of our street has the Borders rail line where you can take a train to Tweedbank and take a river walk to the beautiful town of Melrose with its ruined Abbey. There really is something for everyone come rain or shine!
