The Squealing Pig Bothy, is an offgrid refurbished 200 year old Blackhouse on a croft in the Western Isles, Isle of Lewis

The Bothy can accommodate up to 4 guests, with 2 Queen size beds.
The Blackhouse is fenced off, so that dogs and children can enjoy a place to roam and play.

The accommodation has a compost toilet.

A shower and plumbed toilet are also available at Raven Rock Cottage which is situated 70 meters from the Blackhouse.

The Blackhouse is on a working croft with Sheep, ducks and Hens.

You can also visit the loom shed on the croft, where you can see the weaving of Harris tweed on a double width loom.

We are situated close to the Atlantic Ocean where you can enjoy, coastal walks, fishing, Coastal rock climbing and bird watching.

Star Gazing, Sunsets and sunrises are worth the visit alone. (weather permitting.)

We are located in South Bragar Labost, and its a good base to visit many of the attractions on the Island.
