Smithy Cottage is a 3 bedroom beautifully restored Blacksmith’s Cottage located in a quiet village nestled between Royal Deeside, Highland Perthshire and the Cairngorms. With many attractions & activities it is the perfect base to explore.
Smithy Cottage is a cosy, tranquil cottage and is a fabulous place to have a break away from the stresses of everyday life. It's a perfect base for discovering the beauty of Highland Perthshire, Royal Deeside and the Cainrgorm National Park.
There are many activities and sights that the area has to offer. Our wish is that guests really enjoy the peaceful surroundings and tranquillity of the garden. With local walks from the doorstep to Munros and skiing within a 20 minute drive.
Our Cottage has something to offer for everyone, be it relaxing in front of the log burning stove whilst watching the red squirrels playing in the garden or spending the day on the local hills and Munros.
A short drive away you can take in a show at the Pitlochry Festival theatre or at the many theatres and concert halls in Dundee and Perth.
There are a multitude of tourist attractions from the V&A in Dundee and Blair Castle to a number of individual independent shops to explore in Pitlochry, Blairgowrie and Dunkeld.
Whatever your interests, Smithy Cottage is a wonderful home away from home, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city and at the end of your stay you'll leave fully de-stressed!
