A warm and inviting, two bedroom cottage offering a boutique experience in the Cairngorms. Spectacular views and idyllic setting, located by the RSPB nature reserve by Insh Marshes. Short drive to Aviemore and Kingussie. Bike and ski store.
A traditional workers' cottage dating back to the early 1900's, when the highland line was first being installed. Nestled between Balavil estate and the RSPB nature reserve, Insh Marshes, there are no shortage of spectacular views. The property is perfect for those seeking a bit of luxury, in an unspoilt, tranquil location, while enjoying the first class facilities of Strathspey. Aviemore, Kingussie and Newtonmore are all just short journeys away.
The cottage contains two double bedrooms, with king size beds, a cosy, wood panelled living room with huge log burning fire, kitchen and bathroom. The living room and kitchen have fantastic views across the railway line and beyond, while the others enjoy nature all around too.
The garden hosts a decking area, fire pit, hammock (for two!) and BBQ area. We are hoping to transform the railway sleeper garden shed into a sauna with views out across the garden - watch this space!
