A further a generous living room and sun room leads to the swimming pool complex. All ground floor living spaces have French doors leading onto the expansive deck which overlooks the golf course and loch at Piperdam Golf + Leisure Resort. The master bedroom suite completes the ground floor and boasts a super kingsize bed with sepreate dressing room and en-suite bathroom. The master ensuite is the height of luxury with roll top bath and a double shower. This bedroom suite is perfect for less mobile guests.
The grand hallway has a beautiful sweeping staircase and leads up to two distinct upstair areas.
A living area with a sheltered balcony, perfect for evening drinks looking out at the stars can be found upstairs. Additional bedrooms can also be found on the first floor, all of which have been comfortably furnished, and three offer en-suite facilities.
The owner, who lives nearby, works hard to ensure guests have a memorable stay. A huge range of activities can be booked directly at the neighbouring Piperdam Golf + Leisure Resort including. From foosball to football, archery to fencing and zorbing are all available to book at cost with Go Active Piperdam. Howies Bar and Restaurant and the Admire Beauty Salon are just a short distance away.
There are also great walks around the 500-acre grounds which includes a 40-acre loch, allowing opportunities to spot plenty of wildlife. Piperdam House is within an hour’s drive of over fifty of the country’s best golf courses, including the championship courses of St Andrews, Carnoustie and Gleneagles. For families with children there are plenty of activities in Dundee itself, from country parks at Clatto and Camperdown, to ice skating, cinema, leisure pool and the HMS Discovery and the acclaimed V&A Dundee Design Museum. St Andrews, Perth and the East Neuk of Fife are all well worth a visit, each with their own attractions, or alternatively, indulge in some retail therapy in Dundee’s shopping centres. There are many quaint villages and towns strung out on the coast from Broughty Ferry to Montrose, which both have sandy beaches and local produce, notably Smokies from Arbroath. An ideal touring base, Scone Palace near Perth and Glamis castles are nearby, and there is quick and easy access to Royal Deeside and the Scottish Highlands beyond. Ideally placed for day trips to many of Scotland’s favourite attractions within Angus, Perthshire, Fife and all four of Scotland’s major cities, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen, all within easy reach. Based on the east coast of Scotland there are many beaches from St Andrews to Broughty Ferry to Tentsmuir. Beach 11¾ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
