Guests can prepare a simple meal in the Kitchennete which is equipped with a double hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, pots and pans etc. Or you might like to soak up the views from the love seat by the pond and use the portable BBQ. A continental breakfast, inlcuding homemade bread, is provied for you in the cottage.
During your stay on the farm you can book a farm tour where you can travel off road around the farm and hills in our Kawasaki Buggy. Meet the herd of Highland Coos, feed the pigs, learn about and meet the peacock family and feed a bucket of pellets to Sally and Larry, our pet sheep. Explore new territory and marvel at stunning views of the Lake of Menteith and the Menteith Hills. You’ll visit the site of ancient rock art then learn some fascinating historical facts ranging from Neolithic Nether Glenny and its ancient inhabitants to heart warming stories of World War Two. Matt will explain how we reduce our environmental footprint through traditional land management, the Nether Glenny Agroforestry project, in conjunction with the National Park and Soil Association, and renewable energy.
