This Hebridean Cottage sits on its own 2 acre croft in the village of Laxay (Lacasaigh). It is within easy reach of all the attractions on both the Isle of Lewis and the Isle of Harris. Stornoway is around a 15 minute drive from Meadowcroft and Tarbert, Harris is about 30 mins away.
No matter what type of holiday you are planning, there is something for everyone here.
If you enjoy outdoor activities there is plenty to do in the area. You can take a boat trip on Loch Erisort for a spot of sea fishing and maybe even catch sight of a sea eagle too! There are also numerous lochs dotted around if you enjoy trout fishing.
We provide fishing equipment as well as picnic hampers, bicycles, golf clubs and trolley.
Meadowcroft has been extensively renovated and decorated to a high standard.
The accommodation consists of
Main Bedroom with Super King Four Poster Bed and en-suite with walk-in shower
Double Bedroom
Family Bathroom with walk-in shower and free standing bath.
Sitting Room with Smart TV and log burning stove.
Our own home grown logs are provided for the stove.
Kitchen with built-in microwave, induction hob, double oven, fridge and dishwasher.
Utility Room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
USB sockets and Wi-fi throughout the cottage
Off- Road Parking.
There is a lawned area to the front of the cottage and a secluded courtyard with table and chairs at the back.
