Manar House is a magnificent Georgian Category B listed country house set in the heart of the Don Valley, Aberdeenshire. Nestled in 65 acres of beautiful grounds overlooking the River Don, the estate is made up of manicured lawns and parkland, agricultural land and ancient woodlands.

Beautifully restored in recent years the house is still primarily a family home. Three luxury self catered guest suites are also now available for hire. Special occasion or larger family celebration? Why not hire all three for exclusive use of the West Wing including the billiard room. Please use the contact email for availability and booking at present whilst our website is being developed.

We offer wellbeing and yoga retreats focussed on mindfulness and taking the time to reconnect.

We welcome cyclists and MTB enthusiasts. Working with North East Adventure Tourism and Visit Scotland we have listened to feedback and developed facilities to meet the requirements of adventure tourists arriving at Manar. These include: secure bicycle storage, wash stations & laundry/drying facilites. We can also arrange local guides to show you the best routes in the shire based on your ability.

Scottish native breed experiences with our resident Highland cows and ponies who enjoy the lush organic pastures at Manar are coming soon.
