Macdonald Spey Valley Resort borders the River Spey, is located within the Cairngorm National Park and boasts a 9 hole golf course, close to the tourist centre of Aviemore.
Whether you are after exhilarating outdoor adventure or tranquil relaxation, there is something at our resort for everyone. The resort has chalets, one, two or three-bedroom apartments, bungalows and Villas. All accommodation is furnished to a high standard with fully fitted kitchen, telephone, fridge/freezer and microwave. Some also have a private sauna. Free WIFI and parking. The leisure facilities include restaurant, bar, heated indoor swimming pool, indoor tennis court, snooker, badminton and gymnasium. Within the resort is a nine-hole golf course, which is free to guests, and all-weather tennis courts. Spey Valley Championship Golf Course is next to the resort and concessionary green fees are available. Nearby is the Cairngorm’s funicular railway, one of Scotland’s most popular visitor attractions, which offers magnificent mountain views. Other family attractions nearby are Landmark Adventure Park at Carrbridge, beautiful Loch Morlich, Strathspey Steam Railway, Rothiemurchus Estate, Culloden Battlefield, Loch Ness, Highland Wildlife Park & folk Museum.
