Lodge Eleonora consists of 2 large bedrooms, a spacious lounge, big dining kitchen and family bathroom with a walk-in shower (with step up) and separate corner bath.
Arriving at the property, guests enter through the shared drive (shared with the bungalow next door) and have an exclusive parking space at the front of the house. There is a staircase at leading to the front door which shallow steps and a handrail. A small porch leads to the front door which opens up to a large L-shaped hallway.
The first room on the right-hand side is the first bedroom which is front facing and extremely large. There is a king size bed as well as a single bed with electric recline features.
Next is the second bedroom which is at the rear of the bungalow and has a super-king size bed, selection of drawers and fitted wardrobes. It also conveniently has a wash-hand basin in the room.
After this is large bathroom with has a separate walk-in shower, corner bath, wash-hand basin and w.c.
Continuing along the hallway takes you to the impressively large living room with a wonderful stone feature fireplace (decorative only) and sliding glass doors which lead out to the raised stone terrace. From the living room guests can enjoy the spectacular sea views across Ascog Bay. If you look closely you can enjoy the seals swimming in the bay and sunbathing on Ascog point or even spot the otters fishing for their meals. There is plenty of comfortable seating to choose from with a corner sofa with chaise lounge, two large armchairs and a traditional wooden rocking chair. Evenings and wet weather days can be spent watching the large flat screen television, DVDs, reading a book, or playing one of the games available for guests to use.
The dining kitchen is spacious and has sliding doors leading out to the large private mature gardens with its very own pond - have a look out for frogs, tadpoles and even ducks! In the kitchen is a large dining table suitable to seat 6 or 8 - when extended. The kitchen is fully fitted and well equipped with all mod-cons including fridge / freezer, electric oven, gas hob and dishwasher. There is also a coffee maker, microwave, kettle and toaster. From the kitchen there is also a utility room with a door giving access to the rear of the bungalow. The utility room is equipped with a combi washing machine and tumble dryer and there is also a small wash closet with wash-hand basin and w.c.
To the side of the house is the large flat garden with an array of flowers and shrubs giving an abundance of colour in the spring and summer months. At the rear wall is a small herb garden where guests are welcome to pick their own herbs. The feature pond surrounded by periwinkle and lavender is often frequented by local wildlife including the family of deer who venture down from the hill for a drink and a nibble at the plants. The pond and garden are not enclosed so pets and children must be supervised outside at all times.
