With this stunning location, we are sure that this will be the starting point for memorable adventures in the Trossachs with walking, the Great Trossachs Forest Footpath runs close by; cycling, fishing or just taking it easy and enjoying the beauty of this very special place which is part of one of Britain’s largest National Nature Reserves. During the darker nights, visitors can take advantage of our street light free location for a bit of star gazing too!

Road
Loch Katrine is easy to reach - from Stirling (45mins.), from Glasgow (60mins.) and Edinburgh (75mins.). Your Journey will take you through the spectacular scenery of The Trossachs - in the very heart of Scotland’s first national Park.
Travelling from Callander: Loch Katrine is 10 miles from Callander, via the A84 to Kilmahog, and the A821 through Brig O'Turk.
Travelling from Aberfoyle: Loch Katrine is 7 miles from Aberfoyle, via the A821 (Dukes Pass - this may be inadvisable during winter conditions.).

Transport
The nearest train station is in Stirling, where you can change to get the bus to Callander or Aberfoyle, unfortunately, public transport options onto Trossachs Pier from both villages are limited.
