Completed in 1901, Inglewood House was commissioned by Alexander Forrester Paton as a home for his young family. Bursting with character and unique architectural features, it is clear that no expense was spared on what must have been one of the finest private houses in Scotland.
The hotel has 6 luxurious bedroom suites which have been individually designed to match their own unique character and the architectural features of the room. They have also created 7 stylish woodland lodges, ranging from one bedroom to four bedroom, with outdoor living spaces and private hot tubs.
Inglewood House also features its Forrester’s restaurant with its beautifully restored dining room and conservatory offering delicious meals using locally sourced products. If you are are looking for something even more special, private dining is offered in the Inglenook Room with fine tableware, glassware and excellent food & drink.
The Lotus Spa at Inglewood House features four indulgent treatment rooms, steam room, sauna, hot tile beds, outside hot tubs, hairdressers and state of the art gym. With a relaxation room and private dining area, there is plenty on offer to help you relax and unwind.
Elsewhere within the hotel, the new wing including a spectacular new Ballroom, is designed specifically for weddings and private events. The new Ballroom will be able to hold up to 120 seated with additional evening guests. The wing also includes a private lounge for guests and a dressing/relaxation room for the bride.
