Heath Cottage - Our customers come back time and again
Heath Cottage is a much-loved holiday home in Boat of Garten, one of the best-loved villages in the Cairngorm National Park.
Sleeps six people in 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin. The larger double has ensuite shower room and main bathroom has bath as well as a shower. All bedrooms have spacious wardrobes.
A sunny open plan area runs from modern kitchen with breakfast bar through a comfortable living area with satellite tv and through into dining conservatory. The conservatory opens directly to patio, with wooden table and seats, and a big grassed garden with gate to the pine forest beyond.
Guests frequently comment on the comfort and quality of furnishings and fittings in Heath Cottage and that the house is welcoming and warm no matter the season.
Cooking, lighting and heating is all electric with storage heaters in the public rooms and additional panel heaters in the bedrooms.
Heath Cottage is well stocked with books, games and has free wifi access. The two village shops, hotel, pub and restaurants are all within a 5 minute stroll and red squirrels are often the first thing you see from your bedroom window.
Boat of Garten is situated just off the A95 Aviemore to Grantown on Spey road, about 7 miles from Aviemore and 10 miles from Grantown. There is easy access to the cottage and parking immediately in front for at least 2 cars. There are good train and bus connections to Aviemore and an airport at Inverness.
