Beautiful Harbour House is situated right on the edge of the harbour in Portree Bay, with stunning views and in walking distance of the shops and restaurants of Skye's main town. This historic property, designed by Thomas Telford dates from 1837 and one of its first occupants was Captain MacKenzie. Today the house provides spacious and comfortable accommodation for families, friends and couples and up to two well-behaved dogs.
The accommodation has been tastefully decorated with a blend of maritime and Highland themes and a host of individual touches to make guests feel at home. It comprises a spacious and well-equipped kitchen/diner with a utility/drying room; a cosy lounge with wood-burning stove and views out to sea; and to the rear a family/games room. There is FreeSat TV, table football, books and games, WiFi and bluetooth music centre.
Upstairs the bright and airy first floor includes two large front facing rooms with sea views, one with a superking bed and the other with a king bed. To the rear there is a twin room. All enjoy sumptuous hotel quality linens and comfortable mattresses. There are two bathrooms,, one with a shower and one with a bath and shower over and luxurious Arran Aromatic toiletries.
Outside there is private parking for two cars and seating for 6 overlooking the bay.
