Lovely 1 bedroom apartment for up to 4 to sleep. Unlimited Wi-Fi internet access. Walking distance to the Royal Mile and very close to the city centre.
In the apartment can sleep 2 people in the bedroom and can easily accommodate 2 more guests in the very comfortable and easy to convert sofa bed located in the living room.
A travel cot can be provided on request, please ask at the time of booking.
A welcome pack that includes tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits will be made available at your arrival, so sit and relax that your holidays have started now!
Edinburgh apartment is a stylish self-catering, first floor, one-bedroom apartment perfect for holidays or business trip stays. It is located at only about ten minutes’ walk from the Queen’s Palace, the Scottish Parliament and the very famous and historical Royal Mile. At the same time it is located in a quiet street with free on street car parking, Arthur’s Seat and the St Margaret's Loch are very close and represent a beautiful scenery you won’t easily forget!
Only few minutes walking and you will be immersed in the beautiful historical Royal Mile that goes from the Queen’s Palace right up to the Edinburgh Castle.
Frequent buses will take you to the main touristic destinations and shopping streets, with the nearest bus stop being literally across the road and Princess Street at about 10-15 minutes by bus. Night buses will take you home from the city centre too.
The Waverley Train Station is only minutes away (5 minutes by taxi, 20-25 walking).
The apartment is fully equipped with everything you may need for an enjoyable stay while visiting the beautiful city of Edinburgh: from the comfort of gas central heating programmable system, to a fully equipped kitchen and cooking accessories, linen and towels provided inclusive in the price, and of course unlimited Wi-Fi internet access, so staying in contact with your friends and family, sharing online your experiences whilst enjoying your favourite internet radio will be easy and at the touch of a button of your portable device.
In the apartment you will find a 32” flat TV connected up to a DVD player with USB port (you can bring your own movies, check the pictures you took during the day in the big screen), kitchen tools, plates, cutlery, cooking pots etc., complimentary towels, bed linen, hairdryer, iron/ironing board, comfortable double bed and a sofa that can be converted in double bed. You will also have at your disposal microwave, kettle, toaster, an automatic coffee machine, electric fan oven, gas hob and fridge.
There is a washing machine too available in the apartment.
A big supermarket with a pharmacy open 7 days a week and a cash machine are only 5 minutes away.
Why going to a hotel, when you could stay in an apartment and enjoy the privacy and “home feeling” that this can provide, also saving money that you could spend around the town?

As the apartment owner, most of the times it will be myself or my wife to welcome our guests: we are very friendly, most of the times can accommodate late arrivals without extra charges, and can provide tips and help on getting to the apartment from the airport or train station, travelling around the city, local touristic attractions and any other queries you might have before and during your staying.
- Interaction with Guests

I am almost always available to answer customer's quieries, either via Airbnb's messaging system, or in most cases by phone. I live about 5 minutes from the apartment, so I can come over very quickly (depending on time and day of the week) and be there if you need me.
- Getting around

Public transportation is a big benefit of this apartment: the nearest bus stop is located literally across the road, with frequent buses to and from the city centre. In 10-15 minutes by bus you are right in the centre of the city (Princess Street)!
There is another bus stop a couple of minutes walking away with even more buses available, including the night service buses starting just after midnight (N26 service).
From the airport, a 30-35 minute ride by taxi will take you to the apartment; the cost would be approx £23-25. Some taxi companies charge you less than £20, please get in touch before your travel for more information.
By Airlink (Airport bus n. 100), it takes about 40 minutes to get to the Waverley Train Station (last stop), and the bus service offers free wifi on it too.
You can now choose to take the tram too from the Airport to Princess Street!
From the Waverley train station, a 5-7 minute ride will take you to the apartment.
There is free on street car parking, and most of the time you will be able to park in the same street where the apartment is located.
