Dornoch Caravan Park – the perfect spot for your camping holiday!
Dornoch Caravan Park is a large links site which offers holiday accommodation for those travelling in Motor-homes, Caravans or Tents. It is a large site and can accommodate everyone from small tents to extra large motor-homes. We are a family friendly park which offers a play-park, pool room and a putting green for your entertainment.
You just need to skip over the sand dunes before spending many happy hours on the beach. And, of course dogs and their well behaved owners will be made very welcome.
The County of Sutherland is unique in having 3 coasts East, West and North and the county town of Dornoch is ideally situated with many centres of interest within a 2 hour car trip. Close at hand is Golspie where you can visit the world famous Dunrobin Castle and enjoy the facilities at the Sutherland Swimming Pool Complex.
Dornoch is an excellent base for your holiday with many north coast tourist attraction less than a two hour drive away - You can wonder at the beauty of Dunrobin castle, watch the salmon leap at the falls of shin, enter the depths of Smoo cave and visit John O Groats where you can take a ferry over to the Orkney Islands.
Closer to home in Dornoch you can visit the splendid cathedral, visit history links museum and then relax in our many bars, cafes and restaurants within the town. Dornoch is also an excellent shopping location with a variety of independent shops which showcase the best of local crafts and produce. If golf is your passion there are many excellent golf courses within a short drive - Brora, Golspie, Bonar Bridge, Tain and of course Royal Dornoch itself.
