Now closed for Summer 2023. Just a few miles from Edinburgh you'll find Dalkeith Country Park, a beautiful back-to-basics campsite. Bring your own or hire a pre-pitched tent. With Fort Douglas Adventure Park, Go Ape, restaurant & more on site.

Now closed for summer 2023. Dalkeith Country Park's camspite offers simple, affordable camping in a gorgeous location along the river Esk. A traffic-free campsite, its perfect for families, couples, friends and dogs too! Small, medium and large pitches are available with some pre-pitched tents available to hire too, complete with air beds.

Fort Douglas adventure playground, Go Ape and Restoration Yard's Store, Restaurant and Wellbeing Studio are all on site so you won't be stuck for activities. There's also 1,000 acres to explore on our walking and cycling trails through ancient woodland and past stunning historic architecture.

For trips further afield you have Edinburgh half an hour away in one direction and East Lothian's stunning beaches in the other.
