Originally Established in 1803 as an Inn for weary travellers, the Watt Family have owned and managed the Carrbridge Hotel over the last four decades.
In that time, the hotel has been extensively refurbished and extended to provide modern accommodation whilst retaining the hotels character.
The Carrbridge Hotel is situated at the North side of the Cairngorm National Park, 23 miles South of the Highland Capital Inverness and 7 miles North of Aviemore.The Carrbridge Hotel is situated in an 18th century village deep in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
This family run Hotel is set in breathtaking scenery on the banks of the River Dulnain with spectacular views of the Cairngorm Mountain Range.
The famous pack-horse bridge, reputed to be one of the oldest bridges of its kind in Scotland, dating back to 1717, is situated directly opposite the Hotel.
The Carrbridge Hotel, set in the magnificent Cairngorm National Park, is ideally situated, due to its central geographical location, for exploring the Highlands. Strathspey & Badenoch provide a wealth of facilities and attractions throughout the year for the whole family.
Golfing, lake or river fishing, horse riding, hill walking, mountain biking, canoeing and wind surfing are just some of the vast range of activities available close by. Aviemore Mountain Resort, at the foot of the Cairngorms, is one of Scotlands leading ski resorts and is only 10 minutes drive.
Visitor attractions include Landmark Forest Park, which is only five minutes walk from the Hotel, Speyside Heather, Rothiemurchus Highland Estate, Highland Wildlife Park, Strathspey Steam Railway and the Malt Whiskey Trail.
Within a two hour drive North, East or West you can find a diversity of culture Duff House Country House Gallery, Macduff Aquarium, The Moray Firth Coast, Isle of Skye and The Western Isles, Loch Ness, The Grampian Highlands & Royal Deeside, Balmoral Castle and Crathie Church are to mention but a few.
