Welcome to Burravoe Wigwams, we have two wigwams, positioned to the south of Brae, in the north mainland of Shetland. We are ideally placed within walking distance for all the local amenities in Brae, but also central for exploring further afield.

We have two wigwams positioned in a tree plantation to the south of Brae. This makes for a very secluded and private setting, with many guests commenting that it is a unique location for Shetland. Our wigwams are "running water deluxe" models and are top of the range camping cabins. They offer extra luxury and independence, with a mini kitchen, table and chairs, toilet and shower. Each wigwam has a large double bed and a large double sofa bed, and would be suitable for four adults or a family with a few children.

Outside there is a large picnic/barbeque area, with two large picnic tables. There is lots of space for children to run around and play safely in the large tree park. There is also a beach a few minutes walk away. This is all part of a working croft, so you would be holidaying alongside kye, sheep, turkeys, dogs, hens and occasionally pigs. The hens are all free range and roam around the wigwams in the tree park, providing eggs which we sell in an honesty box.
