The University of Stirling's Vacation Campus offers a superb range of self catering chalets, flats and apartments, located within 360 acres of spectacular parkland estate. Self catering and Bed and Breakfast packages are available.

The University's internationally renowned macrobert Arts Centre incorporates the superb mainhouse theatre, complemented by the purpose built 140-seat filmhouse cinema complex.
The Vacation Campus provides the ideal base for holidaying in Scotland, with a host of major attractions including Loch Lomond, the Falkirk Wheel, Edinburgh and Glasgow all less than an hours drive away.
The University of Stirling's contemporary guest accommodation is available for short and long stays each year from June until September.
Each of our single, small double and larger double studio rooms are en suite and are equipped to a high standard.
These are available as bed and breakfast or room only options and can be booked either as individual rooms or grouped into self-contained flats for up to 10 guests.
All rooms have access to a separate modern kitchen, dining and living area with tea and coffee making facilities and TV/DVD combi sets.
We welcome families and can provide travel cots and high chairs. Please book these in advance of arrival for a small additional charge.
All guests enjoy complimentary use of the University of Stirling fitness suite and pool (subject to availability), free wi-fi and parking.
Located just two miles from the heart of Stirling, Scotland's ancient royal capital, the University's Vaction campus is set within over 300 acres of beautiful parkland and is undoubtedly one of the most picturesque university settings in Europe.
Our comfortable accommodation offer is perfectly complemented by superb catering, sports and leisure facilities.

At the heart of the campus the University's Atrium area offers a shopping precinct which caters for most essential holiday shopping requirements. Shops include a pharmacy, gift shop, book shop, bank and mini supermarket.
Transport
We encourage everyone coming to the University to use sustainable transport.
Visitors to the campus should note that at certain times, during semester, demand for car parking spaces may exceed supply. Visitors are therefore strongly encouraged to:
-Use the excellent public transport links to and from Stirling or Bridge of Allan or
-Walk from Stirling or Bridge of Allan to the University, getting some exercise and seeing the University's beautiful surroundings first hand
Parking for visitors
Pay & Display machines are in operation within all campus car parks and affect all who drive to and from, and park on, campus. Visitors should note the following:
Pay & Display only operates Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm during the University’s academic semesters.

Pay & Display rates are as follows:
Up to 1 hour – 50p
1 - 3 hours - £1.00
3 - 5 hours – £2.00
5+ hours - £3.00
Blue Badge holders are not required to Pay & Display.
Where vehicles do not have a ‘Pay & Display’ ticket displayed and/or are otherwise in breach of the University’s Traffic & Parking Regulations (e.g. parking on double yellow lines or in disabled bays), a Private Parking Notice (PPN) will be issued requiring a payment of £40 to the University. This will be reduced to £20, if paid within 14 days of the date of the notice. Failure to pay a PPN within 28 days will result in the vehicle being denied access to the campus at the main control barriers.

Getting here by train:- From Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh Waverley stations, trains are frequently available to Stirling. Taxis are available outside Stirling train station which is approximately 3 miles to campus.
Getting here by plane:- From Edinburgh airport the University is 33 miles and from Glasgow airport the University is 44 miles. From both airports there are airport bus services that will transport you to the city centre where you can then travel by train to Stirling. By car from Glasgow airport take the M80 North merging with M9 North, leave at junction 11 onto the M9 towards Bridge of Allan. By car from Edinburgh airport - take the M9 North to junction 11 and proceed on the A9 towards Bridge of Allan. The campus is 2.5 miles away via Bridge of Allan. Car hire desks are available at both Glasgow and Edinburgh airports.
