Situated just outside Newton Stewart, in rolling countryside, our small friendly site enjoys all the benefits of being far enough from the town to 'get away from it all', but near enough to access all local facilities. We have a 4 star rated cottage with free WiFi that sleeps 6 people, comprising 2 double bedrooms, both en suite and 1 twin room with toilet and wash basin. All bedrooms have TV/DVD with freesat channels. Large lounge also with TV/DVD and freesat. Central heating, double glazing, large kitchen, fully equipped including gas range cooker and washer/dryer, large dining room/conservatory with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. Family Bathroom and private garden.
We also have 3 modern Static caravans all of which have gas central heating and are double glazed.

Van 3 is 28X12 sleeping 4, 1 double room and 1 twin room. Comfortable living area with flatscreen TV and freesat. Large deck with table and chairs and possibly the best view. Fully equipped kitchen, with gas cooker.
Out and About. Newton Stewart is approximately 1 mile away (as the crow flies), 3 minutes by car, 10 minutes by bicycle and around 30 minutes walk. In Newton Stewart you will find all amenities including, several pubs/restaurants, a cinema, local shops, supermarkets, doctors surgery, chemist, etc.
If you like Mountainbiking, you're in for a treat. We are situated close to the Galloway forest park, which has a multitude of routes ideal for the novice right up to the very skilled/experienced rider.
For the walkers, there are numerous woodland walks and hill walks and even 2 or 3 munros within 10 miles. There are over 40 peaks in the locality, so something for all abilities.
For the Fishermen, the river Cree runs past the bottom of our road and through Newton Stewart, an ideal place for Salmon and trout fishing, also there are plenty of Loch's if you prefer a bit of course fishing.
For the Motorcyclist, well what can I say, Beautiful scenery all round, accessed via anything from long sweeping curves, to the twistiest of twisties, we've got it all here.
