All the bedrooms have excellent storage space and benefit from peaceful views overlooking the river, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.

Ample parking is available within the grounds of the property.
The Meadows Park and the Sustrans route 7 cycle path can be accessed from the garden of Almardon. The park has a small play area for children and a lovely river walk where you can feed the ducks.
The cycle path makes for a fabulous walk to the Leny Falls and beyond. It stretches from Drymen to Pitlochry (89 miles) so provides an excellent days cycling for enthusiasts. Cycle hire is available ilocally.
The newly built bridge over the Bracklinn Falls is a local attraction. You may like to drive through the Queen Elizabeth Forest or the Trossachs Trail taking in the magnificent scenic route past the three Lochs Venechar , Achray and Loch Katrine where you can take a journey on the Sir Walter Scott steam boat. At the David Marshall Lodge near Aberfoyle you can witness the Osprey, or Red Squirrels on the screens set up for visitors and when the bluebells are in flower the area is a carpet of blue to be seen.
For the more adventurous, Munros and Corbetts are not too far away; Ben Ledi, Ben Sheann, Ben Vorlich, Ben More, Ben Lawers are all within easy travelling distance to Almardon.
Fishing permits can be bought In Callander for numerous fishing sites.
Golf is available at the 18 hole Callander Golf Course, the more challenging 18 hole course at Aberfoyle is a short drive away. For the true enthusiast we are a 45 minute drive from the championship standard Loch Lomond Golf course and a similar distance to the Gleneagles Golf Course.
Mclaren Leisure centre, Callander offers a range of activities including swimming.
Callander is in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and has a wide range of pubs, restaurants and shops. The Co-Op & Tesco both open 7 days a week until 10pm each evening.
One well behaved dog is welcome at Almardon by special arrangement.
