Inverness is an excellent jumping off point to explore the rich culture and history of: the west coast; the Isle of Skye; the northern tip of the UK, including John o'Groats; Orkney and the Shetlands. Inverness is the start/finish for the North Coast 500 (NC500) and features in the TV drama Outlander. And what trip to Northern Scotland would be complete without a whisky tour.
