Flexible Scottish Motorcycle Tour
With many in the UK considering a Staycation around Scotland this year which could involve anything from a few days to a full week, this plan might just be what you seek. It allows riders to take part in a 5+ day, 4+ night holiday with 3+ days riding
This motorcycle tour facilitates many variants, e.g. arriving Friday night leaving Tuesday morning, arriving Tuesday night and leaving Saturday morning, or to take a weeklong tour. Some might even want to add extra days at the beginning or end of take a rest day during their stay. It is as the title states flexible.
Those who have non-biking partners will be pleased to learn that this tour returns to the same Glasgow 5* hotel each night and so their partner can spend time enjoying the sights and shopping in the city whilst they are off exploring each day.
Dinner, bed and breakfast is provided at the luxurious hotel which offers styled bedrooms and stunning suites, all featuring luxurious hand sprung mattresses, fine Egyptian linen, deep baths and powerful drench showers, plasma TVs and DVDs, cigar shack and whisky room, bistro, bar, French styled elegant and informal dinning.
For those on a tighter budget alternative accommodation can be provided on request.
Operating from their Glasgow base McTours location affords easy access to some truly breath-taking scenery that is within easy reach of the city. The area offers great roads for the biker and you need not travel far to find back roads that are quiet, scenic and great fun to ride. These circuits will reach different areas of Scotland be it South to Dumfries and Galloway, North to Fort William or West to Argyle. so that over the course of the tour you shall experience much of the variety Scotland has to offer.
Daily journeys will be adjusted to meet the skills of participating riders and so will vary from 85 miles to 250 miles involving 3 to 6 hours riding. Factoring in breaks and sightseeing each day will involve 7-9 hours between leaving the hotel and returning.
For those travelling from various parts of the UK, McTours will also make some suggestions to highlight interesting routes you might like to take to enhance the overall experience.
Tour dates available between April and September. Prices start from £1,250 for a solo rider on a 4 night stay and vary depending upon season, duration and who is occupying the room at the higher end 2 riders sharing a room in the 5 star hotel for a 9 day stay would pay £6,040 (£3,020 each).
