Corgarff Castle and the Watchers Art Installation, Aberdeenshire

Clyde Sea Lochs Trail

Dating back to the 16th century, Corgarff Castle is nestled in the scenic Aberdeenshire countryside, approx. 10 miles south of Tomintoul. The castle boasts an incredibly pristine white exterior, surrounded by lush, green countryside – meaning the castle is easy to spot from miles away. Another installation nearby is the innovative Watchers Art Installation which sits on the Lecht Road and offers spectacular views towards Corgarff Castle. This installation has a close connection with the castle and its existing standing stone, A Moment in Time, which was designed to frame telescopic views of the castle.

Please note: Corgarff Castle is currently closed but the grounds remain open to explore.
