This multi-day tour takes you on an adventure to the divine Isle of Skye. Seeing a blend of historical buildings and awe-inspiring scenic locations. Staying in Inverness and Skye following days one and two. This is truly an experience of a lifetime.
Day 01 - Glasgow/Edinburgh to Inverness
Blackness Castle
Often referred to as ‘the ship that never sailed’ because of its resemblance to a stone ship!
Linlithgow Palace
This was historically the home of many Scottish royals including Mary Queen of Scots.
Doune Castle
Famously the set for Outlander and Game of Thrones.
Pitlochry
This tranquil location has many lochs and forests for you to explore. Make sure to get your photo taken at the striking Queen’s View!
Culloden Battlefield
This powerful and harrowing location has an excellent interactive visitor centre for you to learn of the Jacobite Rising.
Clava Cairns
The well preserved, bronze age burial grounds.
Inverness
Our driver will then drop you off at your accommodation in Inverness, capital city to the Highlands to refresh yourself for the next day ahead.
Day 02 - Inverness to Isle of Skye
Eilean Donan Castle
Truly iconic and breathtaking castle.
Fairy Pools
Arriving in the dreamy island of Skye, your first stop will be the enchanting fairy pools. These vibrant and crystal clear pools will allure you to adventure around them. (Please be advised some walking where there is no pedestrian path will be required).
Neist Point.
These high cliffs and attractive lighthouse is one of the most photographed areas of Scotland for a reason!
Dunvegan Castle
The ground of this castle are a hidden oasis featuring waterfalls and ornate bridges which you can wander through.
Fairy Glen.
This mythical looking landscape will be sure to delight you.
Uig
Lovable town with rugged views and you can stop off for some lunch here.
The Museum of Island Life
An area rich in history where you can gain true insight of ancient Scottish life.
Duntulm Castle
Castle remains with an amazing sea viewpoint.
Quairaing
An essential walk for any keen photographer as these are some of the most spectacular landscapes in Scotland.
Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls
A picturesque observation point offering panoramic views of waterfalls, cliffs & sea.
Old Man of Storr
This is definitely a famous Instagram moment and probably the most iconic location in Skye. (Please be advised a mountain climb is required too see Old Man of Storr).
Portree
Your driver will drop you off at your accommodation in this colourful village.
Day 03 - Isle of Skye to Glasgow/Edinburgh
Loch Ness
Make sure to be on the look out for Nessy! The serene landscape is dotted with plenty of lighthouses, castles, historical monuments and sightseeing opportunities.
Urquhart Castle
This perfectly located castle sits on the banks of Loch Ness looking out over the marvellous vista.
Fort Augustus
A charming hamlet with a 60 mile long canal which runs right through the centre. Perfect for boat watching and also has attractions such as the Fort Augustus Abbey.
Fort William is the perfect place for a wander around. You will see imposing Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain.
Glenfinnan Viaduct
Jacobite steam train bridge which was famously the bridge to Hogwarts in Harry Potter.
Glencoe
Always awe-inspiring with its dramatic, towering peaks. You can stop off here for a spot of lunch.
Loch Lomond
The romantic landscape has many lovely villages to stop off and plenty of waterfalls to see.
The Kelpies
An amazing sight to see in the evening as the huge structures glow with magnificent colour. The perfect nighttime photo opportunity to end your journey.
