The Good The Bad And The Funny Of Edinburgh
Fun-filled walking tour of Edinburgh, hearing tales about the many Myths and Legends of Edinburgh and beyond. Find out the truth here! Prepare to be shocked, you will hopefully laugh and I hope you won't cry when I bust the biggest myth in Edinburgh
On this hilarious walking tour we will hear tales about a half-hanged lady, so-called homeless dogs, body snatchers, poltergeists, Harry Potter, dodgy Kings and drug dealing Queens, so called Witches, battles, invasions, crime and punishments, executions and much more.
We will visit some iconic locations, including Edinburgh Castle esplanade, Greyfriars graveyard, where we will hear about a real life poltergeist, Harry Potter, body-snatchers and more.
We will then meander down the historic so-called Royal Mile, hearing some unsanitary tales of human waste disposal, extinct volcanoes and how the rich and the poor had to live together in a tiny city only 0.2 square miles, from 1513 to 1776.
We will visit the royal church of Edinburgh and the tour will finish outside the Palace of Holyrood and the Scottish Parliament.
Please bear in mind that Edinburgh is built on seven hills, just like Sheffield and Rome of course, so please contact me prior to the tour, stating any mobility issues you or a member of your group may have.
Always be prepared for changeable weather, as Edinburgh can be a very cold and windy city
