Royal Speyside

Enjoy a grand tour through Royal Speyside as we travel north through the Grampian and Cairngorm mountains, passing through two ski areas. We visit the highland town of Braemar, Balmoral Castle and one of the best distilleries in the land...

Enjoy one of our finest and grandest tours through stunning mountain scenery and royal countryside, an area very special to the Scottish people and in particular to our Royal Family since before the time of Queen Victoria. Our Journey takes us over the mountains, through the Highland Ski areas, and some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland. We visit Balmoral Castle and grounds (home of the Royal Family when in Scotland), a big brand distillery such as the Glen Livet, Glen Fiddich or the Macallan (by pre-booking only) etc. This tour is ideal for the enthusiastic whisky connoisseur and so if you fancy visiting a couple of our top distilleries or perhaps combining a non whisky drinking attraction to suit the non whisky drinkers in your party then please ask as this might be possible depending on tour availability and timings etc. This tour also suits the non whisky drinkers with an array of other interesting attractions such as fabulous baronial style castles, the Speyside Cooperage where they make/repair the whisky barrels or perhaps a fabulous little motor museum etc. Also on route we visit the highland towns of Braemar and Banchory (The former being the place of the Royal Highland Gathering every September) You also have opportunity to visit Crathie Kirk (Church) which the Royal family attend on Sundays when in residence at Balmoral etc. We stop for a nice lunch on route and altogether, we are sure you will have an amazing day on this tour!
