Maidens Wildlife Tour

This 2 hour trip takes you through stunning Loch Bracadale, past the uninhabited cliff lined island of Wiay and on to the Macleod’s Maidens.

This 2 hour trip takes you through stunning Loch Bracadale, past the uninhabited cliff lined island of Wiay and on to the Macleod’s Maidens. These impressive sea stacks stand up to 65m tall & are home to a variety of sea birds, including cormorants, fulmars & often Sea eagles. Don’t be surprised to see local fisherman on their daily trips for lobster and crabs!

After our stop at the maidens we make for a small offshore Seal colony on An Dubh Sgeir, here we watch these locals bask on the rocks & play in the shallows before heading towards Talisker point. On the edge of this large bay we will often spot resident Sea Eagles perched on the cliff tops or swooping down to catch a fish.
