- Driving south-west along the Great Glen, river Ness and Loch Ness we might have a glimpse of Nessie before arriving at Urquhart Castle where you can explore this magnificent place. Plenty photo stops and time for tales, legends and views of highland cows.
- A short drive from here takes us to the capital of the Highlands, Inverness, where there will be time for lunch and exploring.
- After lunch we will head to Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns. Culloden is the place where the last battle was fought on British soil. Clava Cairns is a 4000 year old burial site said to have been used by the Pictish people, the ancient Scottish civilization.
