Knoydart 5 Days wild camping

In a small group we will cross Knoydart, summiting the most remote and notorious munros available, hiking every day finding the best wild place to set up camp each night with views of Skye and the Hebrides.

Sidetracked Adventures will guide you across the remotest part of Scotland, often referred to as one of the last Wildernesses in Europe. Included in the trip is:

  • 5 days guided trekking
  • 3 nights wild camping
  • 1 night accommodation
  • Ferry trip
  • Pickup/drop-off to Fort William
  • All camping gear
  • Lead by fully qualified guides
  • All expedition food (breakfast, lunch & dinner)

We will camp near golden beaches, Lochs and on Mountains. Each trip will always be different because of the famous Scottish weather.

This is an opportunity to enjoy the wilds of remote Scotland with like minded people and to give you the skills and experience to enjoy more trips, maybe even on your own.

We will learn to select camping spots and erect tents using camping equipment from Fjallraven, use a compass and map for navigation and discuss all aspects of the outdoors.

The expedition is designed to be enjoyable, where we can we will swim in the sea, have fires on the beach and enjoy coffee with our snacks provided by Outdoor Provisions.

Our last night will be in bunkhouse or similar and we will enjoy our final meal together before the ferry back.
