JK Rowling's Edinburgh, 4 hours on the writing of Harry Potter

A serious Harry Potter tour demonstrating: A Tool to convert cliche to originality. A strategy to overcome writer's block. Half a dozen illustrations of transmuting misfortune into story beating with heart. A mindset for using failure like a piston

If you loved Harry Potter, then you want a Harry Potter tour of JK Rowling's home to be as unforgettable as reading the books for the first time. You want to fill that crushing emptiness closing the Deathly Hallows left. You have one chance to make it good and you want the best.

I wrote this tour for you.

We'll see perhaps 50% of the interesting sights in Edinburgh's gothic old town and go inside the Museum of Scotland.

The spine of the tour is Rowling's hardships and how she overcame, in parts it is more gritty dark and serious than my competitors.

Manifest:

  • Learn JK's spell to overcome anxiety & writer's block..
  • How community helped Rowling succeed.
  • The motivation for The Daily Prophet's Rita Skeeta.
  • We'll visit a good few places which can't be fit on shorter tours including fabulous old College, romantic Riddle's Court, visit the dangerous giant of Surgeon's Hall.
  • Fun lovers can get sorted and keep their wits sharp with an occasional quiz.

And all the stuff of other Potter tours including the cafes Rowling wrote in, the Dark Lord's grave, her honourary graduation. Victoria street, which has many commonalities with Harry's Diagon Alley.

More than twice as long as my best competitor; it's Edinburgh's longest 'Harry Potter tour', (apart from my longer ones).

The more difficulties a person has overcome, the more you can learn from them. This tour has the most stories from Rowling's instructive biography, which I hope will inspire those ready to achieve more.

Live Rowling's struggle and triumph and discover the best of "Yon empress of the North" - Sir Walter Scott.

Make memories that endure.
