History Lovers Touring English course

Improve your English language skills and learn about Scottish history and culture at the same time. You will be accompanied by a professional guide and a qualified English language teacher. Speak and listen to English outside the classroom.

Touring English courses are for non-native English speakers who want to visit interesting places and learn about Scottish culture and history at the same time as improving their English.

All touring courses are accompanied by two native speakers; one professional guide and one qualified English teacher. Small groups with a maximum of 6 participants ensures that you speak and listen to as much authentic English as possible.

Touring courses take place over 6 days. You will be based in Edinburgh with three days taking place in and around the capital city and three one-day trips to the surrounding regions of The Borders, Perthshire and Fife & St Andrews.

The minimum age for participants is 18. The average age is 40 - 60. Maximum 6 adults per group.
