Glorious Scotland
An 8 hour scenic, private tour for up to 7 people visiting some of the most picturesque locations in this beautiful country. You will see mountains, lochs, castles and monuments and visit some lovely villages.
COVID Response Activity: We have made some adaptations to all of our tours to add a little more security for all of our guests during the pandemic. Private tours are the best way to limit your contact with other people and improve social distancing but additionally we provide individual hand sanitiser dispensers and disposable face masks, all guests will be required to sanitise hands at each point of entry to our vehicles. Our vehicle comes equipped with our own tables and chairs and packed lunches can be provided on request. Again the aim is to improve our ability for social distancing and maintain our small group "bubble". Our vehicle will be cleaned with disinfectant before and after every tour. We are certified "Good to Go" by the National Tourist Organisations of Great Britain & Northern Ireland.
- We will pick you up at a meeting point of your choice. We will start our tour by heading to Loch Lomond side to get some beautiful views with the opportunity to take some amazing photographs.
- Our next stop will be Arrochar on the banks of Loch Long with panoramic views of the Arrochar alps. Time for a wee walk around the village if requested
- From Arrochar we will head up the winding Rest & Be Thankful and some fantastic views back down the valley.
- Driving down the other side of the hill brings us to the Loch Fyne Oyster bar and garden centre where we can stop for a bit of tourist retail therapy before driving round the corner into Inveraray.
- Inveraray is a beautiful little town with a Castle, a jail, a bell tower and other attractions and plenty of shops. Here we will also see some of the most stunning views of Loch Long and Loch Fyne as they come together. We can stop here and you can indulge yourself in a hand crafted lunch hamper full of fresh Scottish produce all handmade fresh the day before by our own Chef.
- We will leave Inveraray and head North towards Loch Awe and then down towards Tyndrum and the famous Green Welly tea rooms.
- We will complete our circuit by passing back down the top end of Loch Lomond with stunning views of Ben Lomond just across the other side of the loch. You will then be dropped at a location of your choice.
