Join us and experience one of the most spectacular days on your vacation to Scotland.
We'll be meeting at the beautiful wee town of Balloch, at the very bottom of Loch Lomond, which easily accessible by train from Glasgow and Edinburgh.
You'll be visiting the dramatic Highlands of Scotland, made famous in many movies and T.V programmes including Outlander, Braveheart, Outlaw King, James Bond's Skyfall and many more.
We'll start by visiting, what is probably the most beautiful Loch (lake) in the whole of Scotland, Loch Lomond. This is the largest Loch in mainland United Kingdom, has the most islands of any Loch and is where the Lowlands and the Highlands meet. It's surrounded by vibrant green mountains and forest covered islands, full of wildlife and history.
From Loch Lomond, you'll make your way North to enjoy some ancient waterfalls, carved by years of erosion from the sweet Scottish drizzle on the hard Highland rock.
Continuing North, you'll experience the beauty of Rannoch Moor, a vast land full of bogs, Lochs and history. Such a unique location full of unimaginable beauty.
There will be a nice walk in the Highland's as you get out and explore the landscape on foot, getting to walk in the footsteps of our ancestors in some of the most breathtaking land imaginable. You'll enjoy wonderful views looking out over the mountains and other beautiful Highland features.
As there's so many mountains and Glens in the Scottish Highlands, this makes for a lot of waterfalls and you'll get see more as we travel through Glencoe stopping of at different locations to take in the beauty of the highlands.
As you're exploring, you'll earn all about the Glencoe massacre and how this terrible event played a par in shaping the future of Scotland.
After enjoying some lunch, experiencing the land on foot and seeing many a great Highland site, we'll make our way south, travelling back to Balloch, stopping of at more stunning locations and learning more about the wildlife, culture and history of this great country.
