Short day tour 

- departures from the Scottish Central belt 

10 hour full day tour is £240 (if group of 8 is £30 per person),

so a 5 hour half day tour works out £120 (if group of 8 is £15 per person)

+ ferry tkt

Prices for short day tours are proportionally based on the cost of a 10 hour full 1 day tour (see below),

  • i.e. a short day tour of 5 hours will cost 1/2 of the 1 day tour price
  • i.e. a short day tour of 3.3 hours will cost 1/3 of a the 1 day tour price
  • and so on (1 hour is costing a 1/10 of the full 1 day 10 hour tour)

Price for a full 1 day tour

  • 10 hour full day winter tour is £240

(if only 1 person = £240 for the tour / for a couple it is £120 per person / for 3 it is £80 per person / for a group of 4 is £60 per person / if 5 = £48 pp / if 6 = £40 pp / if 7 = £34 pp / for 8 passengers is £30 per person - these are the discounted winter prices from November up to February

  • 10 hour full day standard/mid-season (March, April & October) tour is £300
  • 10 hour full day high-season (May - September) tour is £360

Route to and then return back from the ferry in Largs:

Outbound journey to the Largs ferry port for the Isle of Cumbrae past Glasgow along the River Clyde with views scenic across to Dumbarton rock & castle and along the Clyde coast, past many historical/industrial shipyards and Gourouck with stunning views across to the Cowal peninsula Inverkip marina to the ferry in Largs.

Possible return journey via inland route with hill top viewpoint & possible stop at the Lochwinnoch RSPB nature reserve or vice versa

The scenic Caledonian MacBrayne ferry runs regularly/no reservation required and is £3.50 return per person (correct 2020)
