CITY OF GLASGOW AND LOCH LOMOND TOUR (8 HOURS)

The Glasgow City Tour covers more than thirty points of interest. Our tour begins at Glasgow Cathedral and traveling through the Merchant City to Glasgow Cross, we move into the old medieval part of town and Glasgow Green. Here we visit the Peoples Palace and see the Victoria Fountain, the world’s largest terracotta fountain. Traveling along the banks of the River Clyde, the modern architecture of the Science Centre and Riverside Museum comes into view. Continuing through the “West End” we see the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and Glasgow University.

On leaving Glasgow we make our way towards the Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond to the pretty conservation village of Luss for some spectacular photographs of Ben Lomond. Here you have the option to take a sail on the Loch or enjoy one of the local short walks.

Returning to Glasgow or your ship, there is the opportunity to visit “Antartex Village which offers a selection of woolens and cashmere at value prices.

This tour offers both an outstanding opportunity to embrace the history, architecture and heritage of Glasgow and the River Clyde, combined with a scenic experience of Loch Lomond and the beautiful surrounding countryside.
